UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER AT TYLER
Grant Proposal Writer:
The objective of this position is to research grant funding opportunities and locate funding sources that complement the University Of Texas Health Science @ Tyler’s’ organizational needs. You will be responsible for the preparation of grant proposals for the consideration of state, national and private foundations. Duties include tracking proposals, developing project budgets and generating grant reports. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Chief Development Officer and works closely with other key staff members.
Major Gifts Officer:
The objective of this position is to identify, cultivate and solicit donations to help meet funding needs for the Health Science Center with special emphasis on gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations.
The Major Gifts Officer manages a portfolio of high potential prospects, and is charged with leading the strategic development of the relationship with the UTHSCT in a manner that meets the needs of the donor and maximizes the participation in the mission of the UTHSCT. The Major Gifts Officer coordinates all aspects of the donor development process to ensure excellent donor relations to close gifts. Reports directly to the Vice President, Chief Development Officer and works closely with other key staff members.

MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER
American Red Cross is seeking an experienced Major Gifts Officer (MGO) for the Longview/East TEXAS jurisdiction. Reporting to the Regional Director, Major Gifts, this position is responsible for managing a portfolio of major gift donors in all market segments from identification and qualification to cultivation and solicitation through stewardship. Office skills are required. Travel up to 75% regionally.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field or a minimum of five years administrative and management experience in human services and working with a board of directors. Child-advocacy or nonprofit experience is a must, and experience in clinical or direct advocacy is a preference. Fundraising, development and grant writing skills are critical to the position. Salary Range is $50,000 to $70,000 commensurate with experience, plus benefits.

LICENSED PRACTITIONER/CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
A well-established non-profit organization currently has employment opportunities for a Full-time and Part-time LPHA, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, in Tyler, TX. Must be self-motivated and enjoy a flexible working environment.
Primary Duties:
• Provide mental health counseling to clients in a one-on-one setting as well as a group or family setting.
• Complete Psychosocial and Diagnostic Interviews and in-depth assessments of clients
• Create treatment plans
• Refer clients to in-house Psychiatrist for on-site medication management and treatment
• Complete and maintain necessary case management documentations for clients
• Monitor service authorization for clients in treatment
Requirement:
• Master degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Mental Health, Family Counseling or Social Work
• Must be an active Licensed Practitioner in the Healing Arts or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Additional Requirements:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to work well with a multifunctional team of case managers, clinical and support staff
• Ability and willingness to work closely with diverse populations, as well as adults and emotionally disturbed children of all ages and their families
• Strong documentation and time management skills
• Ability to use various approach to recovery and mental health
• Bi-lingual a plus
