Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives of the Department of Health & Human Services

  • 2006 Grants Catalog- This catalog lists more than 170 grants programs across several Federal agencies - including the Department of Health and Human Services - that may be of interest to faith-based and community organizations.

FOUNDATION GRANTS

The Foundation Center is a nonprofit organization providing an incredible amount of information on foundations. Among other resources, you'll find the Foundation Finder, recent foundation RFPs. and grant maker websites.

Funding Information Centers - are libraries around the state of Texas which provide resources and technical assistance to identify foundations which might fund your project.

STATE OF TEXAS GRANTS

Texas Department of Health Funding Alert contains information on federal and state funding opportunities.

Texas Register is published online every Friday. Located the bottom of the table of contents page under the heading "IN ADDITION" are announcements of state funding opportunities.

Texas Marketplace is an online tool that the State of Texas uses to facilitate electronic commerce, including government procurement and private-sector trade opportunities.

State Agencies: most state agencies have a page dedicated to funding opportunities. Visit the state agency most likely to fund your program for more information.
