“I support the United Way of Tyler/Smith County monetarily because I believe it is the best way to help multiple agencies and people in need. I can give through payroll deduction through my employer and know that it is well managed and helps the organizations it supports in the community where I live. It is an honor for me to be able to give of my money and time to an agency that helps so many people.  I am grateful that I have been able to contribute my time to support the United Way by being a board member as well as serving on the Agency Relations Committee in the allocation process. It has enabled me to become familiar with the United Way as well as the agencies and the many ways they serve our community. It is amazing how much good is done at the agency level with the monies the United Way contributes.  It is a privilege to be in a position to help others and I believe the United Way is the most efficient way to accomplish that.  I feel blessed that I can help rather than being one who needs help. I appreciate the United Way for giving me a way to give back to my community.”
